Okay, I have to get into taking pictures because I know humans enjoy pictures with their stories. Hopefully I can get some good shots when I do things next time.
Last night at 5 PM Central time, my guild, The H E R D, met at the Crossroads in The Barrens, recruited some extra people, and progressed on to Ashenvale and mounted an attack on Astrinaar.
The raid was pretty much a level 40+ kind of deal but I jumped at the opportunity to join even though I'm only level 32. The group I was in in our raid consisted of level 50+'s, so I felt pretty small.
In Astrinaar, the guards are level 40, but there are level 50+ and even some lvl 60+ folks that come out if the "civilians" get brought into the fray.
The Civilians got brought into the fray over and over. Many of us died over and over. I certainly died 5-6 times or more, but kept on coming back.
Guildies came on late and continued to join us in Astrinaar, but no matter how many people we had, whenever the civilians came into the picture, there was a lot of death.
There were a few players who decided to jump into the fray - I'm sure they got one or two of us, but I know we got them a lot as well. One lvl 21 appeared right in front of 5 of us and died immediately... my first Dishonorable kill!
All in all I didn't end up with many honorable kills (maybe 8), but I only had that one dishonorable kill, and a lot of fun in the raid. I hope to join another one soon, and this time I'll have pictures!
