Rumors are coming in and it looks like Apple has big plans for the upcoming iPhone 3GS units and jailbreaking might be out of the question.

It looks like Apple is really annoyed with the iPhone Dev Team\'s capability of always jailbreaking and unlocking the iPhones. Therefore the company has decided to take action and change the bootrom of the iPhone 3GS. Thew new bootrom is supposed to be resistant to the 24kpwn exploit used by the Dev Team to jailbreak the device.

The iBoot-359.3.2 , that\'s the name of the new bootrom, will apparently make the jailbreak impossible according to Dev Team member MuscleNerd. Does Apple really expect people to stop trying to do nasty things to the iPhone? I\'m sure that soon someone will be able to jailbreak the new bootrom too. Not that we would ever advise you to jailbreak or unlock any of your future phones! Read More
